| Our game board art uses eight-square by
eight-square geometry. This playing surface is most common
to both checkers (draughts) and of course, chess. Where
our boards differ from the traditional chess or checkerboard
is in just about everything else we do in both design
and finishing. We will vary the sizes of the boards, playing
squares and of course the color combinations of every
piece. To date we have only created a single board in
the traditional red and black and, we have not duplicated
a color combination to date! The reason for the great
variety is because we build the majority of our boards
to our customers’ specification from an infinite
color palette. |

We have entitled this board "All the King’s
Men” because its design reminds us of the game
of chess. It is 17 1/4" square in Black and White.
The 1 1/2" playing squares are bordered by Blue
over an Ebony stain. This piece looks considerably older
than it is. Adding a mirror is always an option!
