We craft what some might call “individualized
primitive art.” No two pieces are ever alike!
Our mission is to create an easily affordable work that
you will enjoy for many years, and will reflect a little
of who you are. Building unique checkerboards that are
reflective of their owners, or if gifted, the recipient,
is great fun. The variations are almost endless. Our
basic boards are approximately 18” square, the
miniatures 12” square, but this will vary, as
we do offer some unique shapes as well. and, our boards
are crafted from natural wood and the various finishing
techniques, including wood burning (pyrography) staining
and painting, are all individually hand applied.
